About:
Address Book Server is a shared server to the
Address Book application. Address Book Client
(included) provides bi-directional synchronization
between the server and the participating clients.
There is support for synchronizing over the local
network as well as the Internet. It has the
potential to support most mainstream databases.
Release focus: Minor feature enhancements
Changes:
The System Preference Panel was updated with an enhanced workflow. Minor enhancements were made on the server side. It is possible to upgrade from the previous release (10th May) without re-installing. Prior versions should use the un-install script provided to remove the server installation. The manual in the disk image was updated.
