About:
The dataharvester is a small tool that is capable
of reading from and writing to several different
file formats. Currently supported file formats are
ROOT, HBook, HDF5, XML, Sqlite3, and a text file
format (also gzipped). A plugin mechanism
decouples the file-format specific "backends" from
the main library. All data are internally
represented as "heterogenous hierarchic tuples";
no other data structure exists in the
dataharvester.
